Egg Donation

Women have a limited supply of eggs in their lifetime and sometimes the cause of infertility is premature exhaustion of this reserve, or very poor quality of egg. The couples can take eggs donated from younger, healthier women. These eggs are then fertilized with the partner’s sperm and then transferred into the uterus of the woman who is hormonally prepared to receive the embryo.

Donor selection process

Egg donation is done through an unrelated anonymous egg donor. All Donors should have attained the age of legal maturity. All egg donors are screened using a set protocol and comprehensively checked for infections and general health. They are also evaluated for any genetic diseases in them or their family.
